About Us
Our Chiaroscuro
Founded by Mohamed Agamy and Taghrid Abouelhassan, ChiaroScuro Film Productions is an Egyptian film production company, born in Cairo in 2019. ChiaroScuro Film Productions co-produced the feature “Chronicles of Her”, winning the fund for Egypt from the UNESCO, the European Union, UN Women and the Royal Jordanian Film Commission. The film won six International film awards and was nominated for fourteen more. The feature film "Snow White" Produced by Mohamed Agamy, for the same Writer/Director Taghrid Abouelhassan is the company's second feature.

Mohamed Agamy, an Egyptian Entrepreneur and film Producer. Agamy founded Chiaroscuro Film Productions to support Independent filmmaking in Egypt. He aims at helping independent filmmakers make authentic films that show their identity and unique heritage. IMDB

Snow White was developed through RAWI Screenwriters' Lab in partnership with the Writers Guild of America with Oscar nominee Andres Heinz, Cannes nominee Pedro Peirano & Sundance & Berlin winner Fernando Eimbcke. It was selected for the American Film Showcase at Gouna Film Festival. Snow White's Screenplay won two awards at the Cairo International Film Festival from the UNFPA & IEFTA. ChiaroScuro Film Productions is proud to announce that Snow White is completed & ready for release.
Amira's Mercy Table
Amira, aka, Princess , is an eight-year-old girl who drives a tuktuk for a living through the slums of Cairo. The women in Amira's neighborhood cook for a living to the charity "Mercy Table" feeding the poor in the Muslim holy month. With Tuktuks becoming illegal, Amira has to deliver the food to the "Mercy Table" and escape the police to deliver the food before sunset.
